Care in Kenton
Care in Kenton
Care in Kenton is a welfare group that offers help to members in need; this includes home and hospital visits, shopping, transport to the doctor, bank and Synagogue activities; befriending, bereavement support and financial help in certain circumstances.
We have a 'Link' system, which provides a point of contact for every member. The community is divided into approximately 48 geographical areas each having a Link person to help with their problems.
Rabbi Black is always available to make pastoral and hospital visits.
The group is involved with the United Synagogue Chesed Programme and this has included distributing Pesach Parcels and Honey cakes.
To facilitate our work we have a very strong group of helpers.
